Dear All,
We are pleased to inform you that the IADVL EC and Academy have initiated a thesis based award session that will be open to all Postgraduates who have cleared the exam in the preceding 2 years.This session is also planned for DERMACON INTERNATIONAL 2019. There will be 3 awards for this session and the winners (both the guide and postgraduate) will be awarded with certificates and Rs 10000, 8000, 5000 each for the first, second and third prize respectively.
Eligibility: The application has to be forwarded by the guide of the
postgraduate. It is mandatory for the postgraduate to himself/ herself present
the paper. Pre-registration for the conference will be mandatory for the
postgraduate whose abstract is selected for this session. Only one candidate
per guide will be considered per conference.
For preparation of the Abstract please refer to the attached
instructions for abstract preparation. The candidates are also required to
submit-Ethical clearance certificate from the Institutional Ethics Committee
and Clinical trials registry certificate (for interventional studies) with the
abstract. An undertaking that the proposed thesis is their original study plan
and there are no conflicts of interest and it has not been simultaneously
submitted for any other category in DERMACON INTERNATIONAL 2019 has to be
signed and submitted by the applicant, guide and co-guide. Please note that any
paper applied for in this category, cannot be sent for consideration for free
or award paper in the same conference.
The evaluation shall be
carried out by the IADVL Academy members with a pre-structured evaluation sheet
(attached). Novelty of the research topic and research methodology shall be
given priority in the evaluation.
