The IADVL Academy and IADVL EC intend to
constitute a task force for preparing online training modules, guidelines and conducting
CMEs on STIs & HIV.
On behalf of the IADVL EC and the
Academy, we are pleased to invite IADVL Life Members (excluding EC and Academy
members and SIG Coordinators and Conveners) to apply for membership of the IADVL
STIs & HIV task force
Requirements
Coordinator/ convener
•
Original work in the field defined by at
least two original publications in the field as first or corresponding author
·
10 years in
the practice of the field
Member
•
Should be active academicians with 5
years of experience as a consultant dermatologist or a teacher in a medical
college.
•
Preference shall be given to those who
are not members of other SIGs.
•
Should have published article (at least
one) or chapter (at least one) or presented at least five scientific papers in
the chosen field at the State, Zonal or National level.
This group, consisting of a Coordinator,
Convener, and 8 members, will be responsible for preparing the slide deck for
the topics, under the supervision of the IADVL Academy and EC. The members of
the IADVL STIs & HIV task force shall subsequently participate as
faculty for these meetings.
The coordinator, convener, and members
will be selected by a selection committee composed of the President,
President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Hon. Secretary-General, Academy
Chairperson, and Academy Convener.
