Applications were invited for DR. B. V. Satyanarayana Memorial Award 2023
for best thesis. These were evaluated by members of the SIG Dermatology
Clinical Research and were ranked based on mean scores obtained. We are glad to
announce that the winner of this award is:
Dr Kittu Malhi (PGIMER, Chandigarh) for her thesis entitled Utility of plucked hair direct immunofluorescence as a possible replacement of conventional skin biopsy direct immunofluorescence in immunological activity monitoring and prediction of relapse in pemphigus done under guidance of Dr Dipankar De.
The award will be given during DERMACON 2024 to be held at Hyderabad. The date and time will be communicated to the awardee.
