IADVL Academy, established in 2008 under the visionary leadership of Prof. A. K. Bajaj as the first Chairperson and Dr. Arun Inamadar as the first Convener, has played a defining role in strengthening the academic and research initiatives of IADVL.
It is a proud privilege for me to take over as the Chairperson of IADVL Academy. Having served as the IADVL Academy Convener during 2023–24, I have had the opportunity to closely understand the functioning of the Academy, and I now look forward to continuing this journey over the next two years with renewed enthusiasm and responsibility.
I sincerely acknowledge the outstanding contributions of the outgoing Chairperson, Dr. Sunil Dogra, and Convener, Dr. Nilay Kanti Das, along with the entire Academy team, for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence.
During my association with the Academy, I have had the privilege of working closely with many IADVL members across the country. Beyond professional collaboration, this journey has fostered strong bonds of friendship and mutual respect, which I deeply value.
IADVL Academy remains committed to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and collaborative learning for the benefit of dermatologists and the community. I encourage all members to actively participate in Academy initiatives and contribute to its continued growth.
